Very nice hotel in convenient location. New England charm on steroids. Could use a little updating but still a great value.
I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a sufficient fitness room, a breakfast buffet with a good variety of food, and carports that are handy in case of snowy weather. I will definitely stay there again!
If you stay, I recommend asking for the top floor.
I really would like to give a higher review. We loved this hotel; the vintage decor, the beautiful comfortable 4 poster bed, fluffy pillows, the complimentary breakfast and the pleasant staff. The only reason for the low rating is the sound problems with our particular room which was room 132 directly below the breakfast room. The floors creak badly and the nose was constant from 4:30am. They should really turn this room into a storage room.
Didn't get 5 stars because there was no elevator. That being said, the Beds, pillows etc.were exactly as pictured. So comfortable!!!! The breakfast room was awesome. The Italian restaraunt who does their room service menu is incredible....if you don't want room service, it is a small walk through the parking lot.
Checked in and as soon as you check in you have cheese and crackers and hot or cold beverages waiting for you. Along with a smiling receptionist. Rooms are exactly as stated, but better. I totally recommend this place. Only downfall is there is no elevator. But all the rest is perfect.
