Went to the Microsoft store to see the new xbox one x console I had been considering buying. Upon arriving a representative showed me the console and informed about their trade in program where I would trade in my old xbox one towards the new xbox one x. I was excited to take advantage of the deal they offered and when I brought my xbox in to a Microsoft score to make the trade in I was told that I had been misquoted and that my console was worth less than half of what they had offered, even though it was exactly as I had described the console to them. They refused to honor the original quote and I ended up leaving the store with my old console in hand after driving about one hour each way to get to the store and transferring all my files to an external hard drive in preparation for the trade in. All in all about 3 hours of my day was wasted because they gave me incorrect information and refuse to honor the quote I was given in store just one week ago. Do not waste your time with their trade in program, best buy offers clear information on their website detailing the exact value of every product they accept on trade so there is no false information thru them. Microsoft will only quote pricing information in store, there is no way to check trade value online, even through customer service, and as I have learned the in store quotes are not to be trusted.
They all seem very knowledgeable.
PS... when you buy something, they give you a nice bag to put it in similar to the ones a grocery store might have as reusable.
Marashall how ever you say her name. was very un helpful not not very customer friendly. on the phone. I will not be going to this store ever. asked to talk to a tech and she gave me an attitude.
They can help fix issues with your computers and tablets. I brought my tablet in after the wireless card stopped working and it not showing up anymore. A guy helped me and did some stuff and in a few minutes had it working again. It was easy and I didn't need to fill out anything or have any special warranty.
All the technology in one place... looks like Apple store but this one looks prettiest!
Long ago, in a time that is all too extinct, I was able to call a place of business such as this and have a human being answer the phone. Now it seems that I have to press this number and that number and this number only to end up sitting on hold for eons and eons until someone finally answers and cannot answer my simple freaking questions. Not sure if this is worse or just on par with Comcast and EA Sports customer *cough* "service" (ha ha ha) but I do know that it sucks. I only give it one star because 0 stars is not an option.
I also got the chance to try a VR demo and it was pretty awesome.
