Terrible service, they brought the wrong shoe size because they couldn't find the one we needed. Shoe size isn't negotiable. Also, they refused to measure feet with their machine that would help determine what size to get.
Their service is terrible and they don't know how to treat their customers right!!! Refund policies are ridiculous here!! Even if you have worn a pair of shoes on only a soft carpet, they're still going to find any reason not to issue a refund or just a simple exchange!! I bought a pair of clogs here and they didn't fit right because they only come in half sizes. So I wore them for just one hour on only soft carpets in my home. When I brought the shoes back, not even requesting a refund but just an exchange, I was still told there was nothing they could do!! The soles of the clogs weren't even visibly worn or scratched either! This store's employees are very rude and their prices are way too high for such terrible service!!!
yes, I really did overhear with my own ears some of you discussing some of this inappropriate stuff during my one (and thankfully only) visit to this store and I think it was really disgusting and unprofessional behavior!
The return policy here is totally absurd. Just one tiny speck of dust on the soles, and it seems the store will categorically refuse to refund your money or even allow an exchange. I bought Mephistoes here a couple weeks ago and just needed to exchange them for a different size. They didn’t have my size in stock, so then I proposed to exchange them for something else equal in price. The salespeople here were very rude and inconsiderate and not very accommodating. I was basically told that I was out of luck and there was nothing they could do. Obviously, this will be my last time shopping here at The Walking Company since they have terrible customer service. Another specialty store which I shop at, Footprints has a much better return policy and friendlier and more accommodating salespeople.
most of the nasty and perverted managers and associates in this store would obviously much rather prefer spending that time discussing inappropriate conversations of a sexual nature, especially degrading jokes and comments about the female anatomy.......
I went here specifically because I have shin splints and was trying to find a good running sneaker. I heard they have the equipment to measure your feet. I told the salesman my issue and he said "Well, here are our running sneakers. What color do you like?" Not very helpful. When I asked about the measuring equipment, he took it out and used it, then again told me to pick any sneaker. Then he continued to try to upsell me every little thing he could add. I went here for a specialty shoe for a specific issue, but they either don't actually offer what they advertise or this particular salesman was just trying to make an expensive sale off me. I took the shoes home and tried them out on a treadmill, and to no surprise they were awful. They are just overpriced for no reason. At least they didn't give me any hassle to return them. I would not recommend this place.
zero stars should be an option for this store - all the associates and managers are extremely rude and unhelpful, if you're not buying at least 300 dollars worth of merchandise then forget it because they're not going to bother wasting their time helping out you the customer
