Who hired these workers food is good workers suck who's the manager ????. I went in no one helped me no direction of where the line begins this place won't last.
The food is not that good. It's ordinary... nothing spectacular. Plus, it is overpriced. I paid nearly $7 (including tax) for a simple GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH. No bueno! My own mother makes better grilled cheese sandwiches... and she makes them for free. I've only ever eaten at this place twice, and twice is enough for me since I've been disappointed 2 times too many. My suggestion is to save your money and eat at Panera Bread instead. Panera has more, better tasting food options, and it is generally less expensive than Au Bon Pain.
Great baked goods, tasty variety of soups, sandwiches, and salads. Clean and plenty of seating!
Every time I go in there it's mass chaos. There's no clear place to stand until you see all the signs once you are upfront to order. Then you end up in the wrong line, The staff is less than helpful and always act annoyed that you can't figure out where you need to be. I'm not the only person that felt this way. Everyone in line was easily frustrated and relieved to be leaving. A whole group of girls behind me in line went to California Pizza kitchen after deciding that it was easier to wait 45 mins there then ordering Au Bon Pain. That should tell you something about the restaurant. The food wasn't bad. I would like to suggest that you move your utensils from on top of the trash can. As an obvious disgusting thing to have clean utensils on something so dirty; it also forces people to wait in line to get utensils while people are throwing away their trash and vice versa. Doesn't make sense at all. I have given this over priced panera bread knock off a chance twice now and after spending close to $50 on soup and sandwiches for my family there will be no next time for Au Bon Pain in the ass.
My daughter ordered a half wrap and cup of soup. The girl who took the order was rude and after 10 minutes, my daughter STILL didn't have her wrap. Apparently, the girl had decided she wasn't going to make it. My daughter got a cookie for waiting and being treated so rudely. The food was all right.
