I cannot praise Dr. Kevin Shea and his team for their professionalism and accuracy on my recent arthroscopic surgery. I underwent surgery on Friday 3/18/16, came out feeling great, very little pain. I had sutures taken out today 3/21/16. Very little swelling, minimal swelling. I'll be back enjoying life as I once knew it soon. The team was on point, attentive to my every need. Dr. Shea explained every detail about my surgery, went home feeling confident. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shea and his team for knee or shoulder surgery. Great feeling when you put your trust in someone and they go above and beyond!!!
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A DOCTOR TO HELP WITH A MAJOR PROBLEM...I HAVE NOT GONE TO ANY DOCTOR IN 5 YEARS SINCE I LEFT YALE NEW HAVEN..I KEPT COMING BACK TO DR SHEA AS I GOT A ODE THING HAPPENING TO ENCOURAGE ME IN HIS DIRECTION UNTIL I READ ALL THE UNFAVORABLE REVIEWS GOT TO SAY WITH SO MANY BAD REVIEWS THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS DOCTOR. this doctor IN MY OPINION HAS LACKED IN ONE IMPORTANT QUALITY AND ITS CALLED PROFECESSIONALISM...

Dr. Shea fixed both ACLs after two soccer injuries. I feel like I have 2 brand new knees and all the confidence to go back out and play without the fear of it happening again. Best Dr. /surgery experience I have ever had. Sending my brother to you to get his knee redone the right way!!
Dr Shea is a remarkably caring surgeon. His approach to his patients is straightforward and no nonsense, which is appreciated since having surgery is not an easy decision to make. Our experience was a very good one with personal follow up by him, personally returned phone calls and even performing surgery on his vacation in order to accommodate the patient's family schedule. Where else can you find these qualities in today's world? Thank you Dr Shea!
My mother and I recently visited Dr. Shea. I found his approach to her inexcusable! She is a 76 year old woman with a torn rotator cuff and other severe health issues yet she was treated like this was "no big deal". Dr. Shea lacked compassion in his care for her and basically sent her out the door with no solution for her incredible pain. We ended up getting a second opinion and my mother was treated with respect and given some options. Dr, Shea needs to stop acting like a "Good old boy" just off the golf course and focus on being a compassionate doctor.
